In this 8th recording, Willie Col¢n continues to bank on his "gangster" image, this time showcasing an illustration on the cover where the young bandleader from the Bronx is on trial. Col¢n stretches his wings by mixing genres of Brazilian samba into son-montuno, Afro-Cuban religious rhythms and Puerto Rican bomba and danza - all showcasing lead singer Hector LaVoe's vocals. Col¢n's mature musical vision outpaces his young years and developing skills.
