17 NORTH PARADE

17 North Parade was established in 2007 as a subsidiary of VP Records, one of the world's largest distributors of reggae music. 17 North Parade's name pays homage to the location of Randy's Records in Kingston, Jamaica, which was the predecessor to VP Records.

17 North Parade's main focus is on reissuing classic reggae, ska, mento, and rocksteady albums from the 1970s and 1980s, with remastered and expanded versions of works by artists such as Dennis Brown, Toyan, Little John, and among other legendary artistes. Additionally, the label supports both established and emerging reggae talent by releasing new music. One of the label's main goals is to showcase the rich history and evolution of reggae music.
